Say what you want about the movie, but the cars were actually pretty cool.

I think it was a good film, but not a good remake of The Italian Job.
Much in the same way that the MINI is a fun car, but not a great recreation of the Mini.

Movie encouraged me to test-drive the next MINI when it came out, which then caused me to buy one.

They're both different interpretations of classics, is what I would think.
